Britain's deadly corona virus strain, with 20 new cases infected reached to 58 in India

Although India is getting relief from the preparation of vaccination against Coronavirus, the new Coronavirus in Britain has also scared people. Britain's new strain of Corona in Britain is spreading rapidly and there is a big increase in its cases. 20 more people returned from Britain have been found infected with the new strain of the coronavirus, bringing the number of patients positive with the virus to 58.

At present, the condition of corona in India is under control, but if the cases of new strains are coming out in the same way then the concern is sure to increase because it is 70 percent more deadly and contagious. However, many experts have expressed confidence that the corona vaccine will prove to be effective in this new virus as well. Let us know that the new strain of coronavirus was first detected in Britain, after which it has spread in many countries.

All these results are based on positive sample genome sequencing released by the laboratories of the Indian Sars-CoV-2 Genomics Consortium (Insacog), which the Center has specifically created with the aim of identifying UK viruses. All these samples are from only 6 out of 10 labs in the country. Among the cases reported so far, 10 have been identified in NIMHANS in Bangalore, three in CCMB in Hyderabad, five in Pune's NIV, 11 in Delhi's IGIB, eight in NCDC and in Kolkata's NCBG.

It is to be noted here that there are 10 labs across the country for genome sequencing to identify new viruses of Corona, of which NIMHANS Bangalore, NIBMG Kolkata, ILS Bhubaneswar, NIV Pune, NCCS Pune, CCMB Hyderabad, CDFD Hyderabad, InSTEM Bangalore. , IGIB Delhi, NCDC Delhi.

It is worth noting that between December 23 to December 25, about 33 thousand passengers have arrived from the UK at different airports in the country, in which these labs are under investigation for identification of new strains of Corona. These are being traced and sampled through the RT-PCR test. Let me tell you that in the wake of the new virus in the UK, the Indian government had stopped flights to and from the UK on December 23, which continues till now.
